FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Calle Principal, Cabarete) Swell Surf Camp has recently announced the launch of their all-new package experience, a Surf Yoga Retreat. According to experts, surfing and yoga are a “match made in heaven.” Stretching prior to surfing has always been an essential part of the surfing experience and professional surfers will never enter the water without first doing some stretching. Using your limbs in a manner uncommon to other daily activities or sports can really take its toll, even on those who consider themselves as being extremely fit.
“Our Surf Camp is very excited about the new Yoga and surfing experience we have created and our visitors seem to love it as well,” says company representative Jeroen. “It combines the two activities into one, providing a unique Surf Holiday experience.”
The new Swell surf and Yoga experience isn’t just for seasoned professionals. In fact, it is suitable for anyone who wants to participate, both complete beginners and those who have been surfing or practising Yoga for years. Additionally, the Yoga instructor in charge of the class pays close attention to the limitations of the students, ensuring it meets all abilities avoiding pain or discomfort.
“If you are interested in our surf & Yoga retreat, you will need to sign up in advance,” continued Jeroen. “Spaces are limited, and the initial reaction from our clients is overwhelmingly positive”
Prior to arriving for a surf and Yoga holiday, there are certain steps to take. Specific muscle groups are used during surfing, which may need some training ahead of time to prevent injury. It is a good idea to prepare the triceps, trapezius, deltoids, biceps, obliques, latissimus dorsi and rectus abdominis prior to attending the surf and Yoga experience. There are a number of great warm up videos provided by Swell Surf Camp on Youtube that can help ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience.
